It is important and necessary that the employer has a valid commercial license for hiring the overseas workforce. The employer applies and enrolls with Ministry of Interior to secure the license. In this way the employer or company in whom the employee is coming submits an application in Ministry of Labor for hiring the foreign worker. This application process will take about two to three months. The labor ministry confirms all provided documents and valid license of the employer and then forward the documents to Ministry of Foreign Affairs to issue the visa authorization number. The visa will be issued from the Saudi embassy of the belonging country of the employee. The embassy takes some time for processing this visa. The work visa holder can travel to Saudi Arabia on this work visa. This initial visa is for three months and on reaching in Saudi Arabia the employee applies for Iqama in the Ministry of labor. However, the ministry of interior issue the residence permits also known as Iqama. This document permits the foreign employee to live and work in this country until the maturity of the work visa. The Ministry of Interior also issue exit and re-entry permit to employee to leave and re-enter in Saudi Arabia.

5. Academic documents attested copies are required.
6. Health or medical fitness certificate from the native country of the work visa applicant.
