This passport is necessary for overseas airline as well as ship travel. However, passport is an official traveling documents which carries your personal information like nationality, name, surname, date and place of birth. But, every individual who wants to go outside for his native country need a valid passport. Ordinary Machine Readable Passport (MRP) requirement must be fulfill by clients. Ordinary Machine Readable Passport basic requirement.
The followings are few basic requirement for the Ordinary Machine Readable Passport. However, the applicant of this kind of passport will provide his/her Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)/NICOP/Smart-Card or Children Registration Certificate (Form”B”. Urgent fee for five years passport: Rs.5000/-
Normal fee for ten years passport: Rs.4500/-
Urgent fee for ten years passport: Rs.7500/-
Ordinary Machine Readable Passport validity.
So, according to the instructions of the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports, passports are released for five to ten years according to their fee deposit rate. But, the five years valid passport cannot be changed into ten years passport.
Ordinary Machine Readable Passport process.
First, the passport applicant will deposit the concerned fee for his/her passport. However, for the process of passport the applicant will visit his/her nearest Regional Passport Office (RPO) to get his/her Machine Readalbe Passport (MRP). However, it is important for the passport applicant that he/she must deposit the passport processing fee. So, the passport processing fee is deposited in the nominate branches of the National Banks. The bank will issue the Original Bank Challan receipt that is require for this process. But, the fee must be according to the selected passport like five or ten years.

- 4. Smart card released by NADRA with its 2-photocopies (Attested).

- 6. No Objection Certificate (NOC) if applicant is government servant.
- 7. Dual nationality holder will provide Foreign Passport with photocopies.

The Ordinary Machine Readable Passport is categorized into two like normal and urgent. However, there is difference between these two passports getting. So, the normal Ordinary Machine Readable Passport is issued after ten days. However, urgent Ordinary Machine Readable Passport released after four days.

Renewal of Passport.
According to the rule or Passport and Visa Manual 2006 applicant can renew his/her passport prior to expiry. However, an applicant with early renewal must have a solid reason behind the renewal of his/her passport. But, the authorities can be canceled or return the existing passport to applicant.
